Special Treatment

Distributions should be treated as redemptions of shares. With each distribution, we will need to calculate the cost and record the captial gain.

Please refer to Tax Memos - Special Treatment for details. Note that the excel is based on $5M commitement, Box B1 needs to be adjusted to the commitment amount of the company you are working on to reflect the company's cost and capital gain.
